The Investigations Division of the Del City Police Department provides oversees the Investigations Unit, Animal Control, Dispatch, and Training for the department. 

The Investigations Unit is responsible for conducting investigations of actual or suspect criminal activity, the care and appropriate of confiscated property, followup investigations, and crime scene investigations.  

The Investigations Unit is also responsible for the following special investigative duties: 

-Crimes against Children

-Juveniles, Drugs, Organized Crime, and Vice Operations
