Assistant Pool Manager Part Time Temporary/Seasonal

The Assistant Pool Manager is responsible for guarding their area of responsibility, responding to any level of incident around the entire facility, enforcing the Aquatic Center rules fairly and politely, being responsive to all customer requests, ensuring customer safety, and other tasks assigned by the Recreation Supervisor.

Cashier for Eagle Harbor Part Time Temporary/Seasonal

The  Cashier must be able to communicate clearly, courteously, and tactfully with participants, parent, and the general public.  The Cashier will be responsible for enforcing the City of Del City Aquatics Center and Cash Handling policies and procedures.

HEAD LIFEGUARD

The Pool Manager/Assistant Pool Manager/Head Lifeguard/Water Safety Instructor is responsible for guarding their area of responsibility, responding to any level of incident around the entire facility, enforcing the Aquatic Center rules fairly and politely, being responsive to all customer requests, ensuring customer safety, and other tasks assigned by the Recreation Supervisor.

Lifeguard Part time Temporary/Seasonal

The Lifeguard is responsible for guarding their area of responsibility, responding to any level of incident around the entire facility, enforcing the Aquatic Center rules fairly and politely, being responsive to all customer requests, ensuring customer safety, and other tasks assigned by the Aquatic Center Management staff. Outdoor weather conditions with little to no temperature control, is routinely exposed to the sun, may be exposed to extreme heat, cold, wind and rain; works on uneven and/or slippery surfaces and is periodically exposed to hazardous conditions/situations.

Crew Chief - Sewer Line Maintenance

This is a responsible skilled work in the inspection, maintenance and repair of the City’s sewer system.  Employees of this class must possess at least a Class “C” Wastewater Operator’s License and have experience in sewer line maintenance and repair.  Crew Chief may fill for the Sewer Line Maintenance Supervisor whenever the Supervisor is unavailable.

EQUIPMENT OPERATOR

Work in this classification is skilled in nature, using a variety of expensive and complex equipment.  Most of the work is semi-routine, following established policies and procedures; however, a portion requires initiative and independent judgment concerning techniques and methods by which tasks are to be performed.  Equipment operation includes, but is not limited to, tractor-trailer, dozer, motor grader, dump trucks, tractors with various attachments, skid steer with various attachments, and other equipment and tools used in performing Street Division and Park Maintenance functions. ... read more

Light Equipment Operator - Sewer Line Maintenance

This is a responsible skilled work of a mechanical nature in the maintenance of the sewer system.  Employees in this class have the responsibility for the operation and general maintenance of the collection system maintained by the City.  Work is performed with some latitude for the use of independent judgment in some work methods and procedures while carrying out the maintenance on the collection line.
