Every year on November the eleventh, Del City hosts a Veterans Day Ceremony to honor veterans who have sacrificed so much for their country.  The ceremony is held in Patriot Park, 4505 S.E. 15th Street (the east lawn of the Del City Community Center).  Patriot Park has been the site of several veterans memorials and monuments since 1995 and its first  Women’s Veterans Monument was dedicated November 11, 2014.
